Your photos and video stay on your device

The photos and any walk-around video you add stay in your browser while you work. We don't upload them to an account or store them on a server, and they're gone when you close or reload the page.

Your finished listing text

When you generate a listing while signed in, the finished text (title, the marketplace write-ups, tags and the suggested price range) is saved to your account so it's waiting for you if your connection drops. Photos are never part of this — they are never uploaded. This text can include the general area and any notes you typed, so it's personal to you; it never contains your VIN, serial number, or a phone number. We keep it for up to 6 months, then delete it automatically.

What gets sent out, and to whom

To build your listing, some details are sent to outside services just long enough to get a result back:

• Anthropic (AI): a plate photo to read it, a few photos if you tap "check condition," and your typed details — to write the listing and make suggestions.
• NHTSA (free U.S. government VIN lookup): the VIN, to pull factory details. This is public data.
• OpenAI (only if voice notes are turned on): your voice clip, to turn it into text.
• Stripe (only if payments are turned on): handles your payment. We never see your full card number.

We send only what's needed to produce your listing, and we don't use it to advertise to you.

What's stored in your browser

The app remembers your progress on a listing and that you accepted these terms, using your browser's own storage on your device. Clearing your browser data clears it.

Children

The tool isn't intended for use by anyone under 18.

If this changes, we'll update the date at the top of the page.
